The National Council Boy Scouts of America developed the Junior Leader
Training Conference Manual, compiling ideas submitted from around the scouting movement. This manual provided an excellant
means of presenting Junior Leader Training. NAGATAMEN was developed in 1981 by a gentleman named Michael Arthur. Mr.
Arthur incorporated the ideas compiled by National Council B.S.A., and took the ideas of a JLT course one step further.
NAGATAMEN is an inner spirit that will grow inside each scout, helping motivate him into reaching for that something
extra. NAGATAMEN adds personal meaning and accomplishment to the goal. NAGATAMEN - One who can be trusted.
